Anna applies her Osteopathic knowledge combined with a profound understanding of the body’s inherent emotional intelligence, making her Osteopathic practice unique.

Osteopathic treatment aims to reduce the body’s imbalances so that every system – such as the nervous system, blood circulation and lymphatic system – functions optimally. The goal is to find the cause of the problem, unlock blockages, support the body’s own healing abilities, and optimise its function.

Throughout her career, Anna has studied how prolonged stress and emotional states are linked to her clients’ symptoms. Stress and emotional states can become stored in the body and manifested as pain or disease.

By analysing the client’s physical symptoms, she can often pinpoint an underlying emotional cause. This gives the patient a profound understanding of how the body, mind and emotions are interrelated, and greater body awareness.

Osteopathic Treatment Techniques

Osteopathic Treatment Techniques

Cranial Techniques

Effective techniques for sinus congestion, ear infections, colic, fatigue and headache.

BLT (Balanced Ligamentous Tension)

A technique where the joint is balanced by the gently led back from the painful state to a more relaxed and optimal position.

Visceral techniques

Soft techniques designed to increase the mobility of the organs. Used to treat gastritis, indigestion, constipation, diarrhea, period pain and infertility.

Articulation/Mobilisation

A rhythmic technique that leads to increased circulation in the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissue around a joint. The technology has an anti inflammatory effect by circulation increases, which in turn leads to a pain reducing effect.

Manipulation

A specific movement to restore mobility between two joints. As mobility increases, the muscles relax.

MET (Muscular Energy Technique)

A technique used to lengthen and strengthen muscles and increase joint mobility.
